Employee Retention SpecialistTM Certificate Program FAQ

What is it?
The process to complete the Employee Retention SpecialistTM Certificate Program consists of an intensive two-day learning experience followed by a practicum and additional book reports. The practicum is designed in cooperation with our faculty and is focused on improving some aspect of retention performance within your organization. The goals for this practicum are to transfer learning from the seminar/workshop to your workplace and to make an immediate and measurable contribution to the performance of your organization.
Where is it?
Employee Retention SpecialistTM Certificate Program sessions are held in convenient locations throughout the United States, including Greensboro, North Carolina, where The Herman Group is headquartered. Seminar facilities, often at hotels, are easily accessible by interstate highways and are usually close to commercial airports. When held at The Herman Group headquarters, we select hotels close to the seminar site for your convenience.

The seminar/workshop fee includes all instruction and follow-up support to complete certificate requirements. The fee includes seminar training materials and handouts and a learning library of books, as well as all lunches and breaks. You will receive a complimentary, one-year subscription to Retention Reminders, one of our e-advisories, as well as a complimentary subscription to The Herman Trend Alert. After completion of all learning and practicum requirements, The Herman Group will award you a handsome certificate in recognition of your completion of the Employee Retention SpecialistTM Certificate Program.
What is the cost?
The cost of $2,000 per participant for the Employee Retention SpecialistTM. Certificate Program includes all instruction, materials, lunches, and breaks for the two-day learning experience, plus a learning library of books. It also includes any follow-up support. Are discounts available?
If more than one person from the same organization registers for the same Employee Retention SpecialistTM Certificate Program session, The Herman Group will grant a 10% discount on the fee of each additional participant.
I am certified as a PHR (Professional in Human Resources), an SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources), or a GPHR (Global Professional in Human Resources). Can I earn hours toward recertification by participating in this seminar?
Due to the content of this program, we have been told that it will qualify for credit hours toward PHR, SPHR, and GPHR recertification through the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI). Once you have participated in the Employee Retention SpecialistTM Certificate Program session, you are invited to return at anytime to refresh and sharpen your knowledge and skills. There is a minimal $100 charge for meals and materials.
